Printing Your Service

When you print your service, your browser may add a header or footer that shows the title or address of the web page, the date and time, or a page count. Don't want those to appear? Here are some instructions for how to tell your browser you don't want a header or footer to print.

Jump to:

Internet Explorer 8

Click the arrow to the right of the Print button in the main browser window, and then click "Page Setup...".

Change the Header and Footer dropdown lists to "-Empty-" for all the items you don't want printed and click "OK".

Internet Explorer 7

Click the arrow to the right of the Print button in the main browser window, and then click "Page Setup...".

Erase the text in the "Headers and Footers" text boxes and click "OK". (If you want to add them back in later, the header default is &w&bPage &p of &P and the footer default is &u&b&d.)

Internet Explorer 6

Go to "File", "Page Setup...", and erase the text in the "Headers and Footers" text boxes and click "OK". (The default for header is &w&bPage &p of &P and for footer &u&b&d if you want to put them back later.)

Firefox 3

Go to File > Print. Change the Page Headers and Page Footers dropdown lists to "Blank" for all the items you don't want printed.

Firefox 2

Go to File > Page Setup. On the second tab ("Margins & Header / Footer"), change the drop down lists to "Blank" for all the items you don't want printed and click "OK".
