Books Explaining and Teaching About the Jewish Prayer Service
The following is a list of books which will give the reader some basic background about Jewish liturgy. These books reflect the views of the author and are not in any way representative of the position of BBYO with regard to Jewish worship. This list is by no means an exhaustive or complete list. In fact, we encourage you to add to this list if you find additional books that might be helpful in teaching about Jewish worship. All of the books mentioned below are readily available on line, at full service bookstores, or in a good Jewish library at synagogues, Jewish centers, or other Jewish communal institutions.
